Touch typing of Japanese. I use major input method. maplemagi... - 6,900 views - 1 year ago
It is a Roman alphabet spelling input used most in Japan.

If the method of inputting the Roman alphabet spelling is shown with the
keyboard, it becomes the following.
http://www.eurus.dti.ne.jp/~yf i/bin/roman_alphabet_spelling. pdf

Please see the following Web site of wanting the trial of the Roman alphabet Japanese input.
http://ajaxime.chasen.org/
Please push "IME On/Off" button in the beginning.
When the Roman alphabet spelling is input to the frame, the hiragana is input.
When the space key is pushed, it is converted into Kanji.

As for the method of inputting the Roman alphabet spelling, 40%-70% key stroke frequency increases compared with the method of inputting the hiragana.

A Japanese electronic typewriter was put on the market in 1980's.
The history of Japanese input for a general person started there.

A variety of Japanese input methods arose in the process of the development competition.
Each manufacturer proposed various Japanese word input methods.
As for the Roman alphabet spelling input, all Japanese electronic typewriters kept being adopted as a provisional input method.

Because the Roman alphabet spelling input is a provisional input method, the input efficiency is bad.
However, any Japanese electronic typewriter was able to be used. This method came to be used widely gradually.
