More prosaically but less accurately, Manic Studios is a loose collective of online comedy and news satire guerrilla writers, performers and video producers, ably assisted by some of those really clever chimps who do those memory tests for French scientists, led (if you can call it that) by Charles Firth from The Chaser.

OUR TECHNOLOGY
Manic Studios possesses futuristic satellite technology capable of beaming live feeds from and to the past, and from and to the future. We know what was and what will be. We know what time it is. Manic Studios is news in 4 dimensions. Whatever happened, wherever it happened, whenever it was. We were there. This groundbreaking development has changed the face of news (and history) as we know it. We can show you what Shakespeare was wearing the opening night of Romeo & Juliet, and exactly how many pairs of shoes Marie Antoinette actually had. We can cross live to Sydney in 2050; has it become paradise on earth or a desolate nuclear wasteland? We'll be back after the break.
OUR HISTORY
Manic Studios started in ancient Persia in 4000 BC. We've been waiting for the world to catch up. We were the world's first collective of online comedy and news satirists. Founded by Charles Firth, great-great-great-great-great- gr... grandfather of the modern day Charles Firth, we've been the most independent, entertaining and important media company ever since, having covered events throughout history with more self-importance than the Wall Street Journal and more sensationalism than Fox News. We have also created and produced television series like I Love Lucy, Survivor, Macgyer and Seinfeld, and films like The Wizard Of Oz, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Police Academy 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7.
