LittleMissUnPopular---just because u have diabetes doesnt mean that you cant get on the computer!! idiot. u just have to take care of urself more. you can have almost the exact same life as you did before you got it, you just have to take better care of urself.. i know personally since i am a type 1 diabetic and have had it since it was 5. it's just a way of life.

I got diagnosed w/ diabetes in October 2006 too. LOL! I have the pump too. But I have Animas instead of Medotronic (not sure if that is how u spell it.). I hope there is a cure too. But intil then...at least u get to go to camp and wear jewelery.....thats what I tell people is the best part (especially camp). Has she been to camp? I go once every summer for a week in a camp near the Daytona Freeway and the beach. It's lots of fun if u have never been to camp. Cross your fingers for the cure! It will be here soon. I predict 10-15 yrs at the most! : ) Message me if u can!

i have the same exact thing as your daughter. type 1 , the pump, the site changes all that stuff. hopefully, they find a cure. i have had it for 5 years. we just have to fight. please be my freind. im happy to kno someone my age goes throught the same exact thing as me.
