Right from the beginning with his first release 'G-Toolz', Mantra Breaks, Madox has always gained international attention. He followed it up with the 'G-Toolz EP2' and the 'G-Toolz EP3 (The Funk Side Of The Toolz)' and featuring as they did huge tracks such as 'Hypnotic Funk' and 'Plasticfunk', it's hardly surprising that he has reached fans the world over. A constantly evolving sound has helped him build on his extensive discography with releases such as 'Adventures in Drum: Brazil Careca/Alemao' with a uniquely Brazilian flavor, drawing attention and praise from the likes of Timo Maas, Groove Armada, Meat Katie, Carl Cox, Stanton Warriors, Tayo, Lee Coombs and Krafty Kuts. In addition to critically acclaimed remixes for Rob Reng, Rogue Element & Tom Real, Mephisto Odyssey, Taishan, Baobinga, Elite Force and Brothers Bud, his production skills have lead to Madox being nominated for Best Remix and Best Producer at Breakspoll early in 2007.

All of this has been leading to his highly anticipated debut album 'Urban Plastic', due for release on Mantra Breaks in October 2007. The album features special appearances from Ashley Slater, the front man of Norman Cook's outfit FreakPower, and Brazilian music stars Braza known for their explosive 'Funk Carioca' sound. Following on from their huge Feedback single of 2006, John Aquaviva and Madox have again teamed up, this time with Tommie Sunshine, for their single "Running From" which has been getting great support and reviews. Urban Plastic's pioneering sound hasn't been missed by the media with the first release "Plastic Fantastic" exploding onto the scene.
