I like how youtube has written under "About Me:" the parenthetical (describe yourself). This is good. Before I realized what "about me" meant, I would often fill the "about me" box with stuff that did absolutely nothing to further the reader's knowledge of me - words that merely filled up space in the precious "about me" box. Fortunately, I no longer do this.
