Mabel Valdiviezo is the founder of Haiku Films, a production company based in San Francisco, California.
She freelances as a segment producer, most recently for PBS. She is also the writer and director of the short film THE WATER'S MUSE which screened at several film festivals in the U.S. The short version of SOLEDAD IS GONE FOREVER was nominated for the Emerging Filmmakers Award at the International Latino Film Festival. Her feature length script of the same title, participated in the Squaw Valley Screenwriting Workshop. Valdiviezo served on the Board of Directors of Bay Area Women in Film and Television (BAWIFT).
