Castor aka Bree is slowly adjusting to life outside of the puppy mill. I wanted to show what it is like to work with a mill rescue, as you earn their trust. Fortunately, not all mill rescues are as damaged as Bree, and adjust quicker. It will take months, possibly a year or more, before Bree learns to enjoy the outdoors and will come to us willingly. Anyone can work with a mill dog, as long as you have the time and patience. Once you win them over, they are the most LOYAL dogs you will ever be around. Even though they will never be able leave all of their emotional scars behind, they can become great pets. Castor (her official Col.
