The team at Lurssen Mastering, Inc has been active over the last several years servicing and supporting independent artists. At this time of transition in our industry, we understand that the emerging independent music scene is a driving force and we are thrilled to participate in it.

The team consists of principal Gavin Lurssen, mastering engineers Gabriel Wallach and Reuben Cohen, and studio manager Raquel Bongiovanni.

Gavin won his third Grammy in 2009 for Mastering "Raising Sand," performed by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss and produced by T Bone Burnett, which won the Album of the Year category. In 2002 Gavin won for his work on the "Oh Brother Where Art Thou?" soundtrack which won in the same category.

Six records the studio worked on in 2008 were nominated in eight Grammy categories in 2009, with four of them declared winners. Lurssen Mastering, Inc. also worked on the soundtrack of "Slumdog Millionaire," which won two Oscars in 2009 for best song and best soundtrack .
