Perhaps last chance to keep in mind before more or even most is forgotten to upcoming generations. Culture is going to become the very most important identity value in future; everything forgotten might be lost forever for all humankind, for all times.

In this sense documenting as much as possible is a great chance to keep in mind what should not be forgotten.

As a European I wish we had cameras 3000 years ago; sadly we didn't and forgot who we are and where we came from and Romans and Christianity removed all remains from us later.

You have a great chance in Australia that we have never had as a choice over here.
