An abandoned baby squirrel who needed a little TLC until he was old enough to make it out on his own. Paulie now lives happily in the wooded preserve behind our house. Saying goodbye was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do.

Does anyone know why my recent video's are uploading so blurry? They are much clearer on photobucket.

We rescued Sammy when he was 5 weeks old, after he fell out of a tree. We tried to release him back outside twice but he didn't want to go. This is very unusual for a squirrel, most will wild up, start biting and chew on everything. We never expected to have a squirrel decide our house was his home. Keeping a squirrel healthy with diet, exercise and special lighting is much more complicated than we could imagine. We do not recommend squirrels as pets. They are illegal to have in most US states. Sammy is one in a million.
