Really? It actually isn't all that uncommon. It just wears to point of getting really thin then "breaks" i.e. the threads become loose then come apart.

I think it's what really hurt Mike later on in his racing career. He was ALWAYS gifted w/ trotters. His trotter resume speaks for itself. He was never nearly as proficient with pacers. U see how he lays into BD here and if u watch the 2000 BC Open Pace u can see how much he laid into Western Idea...

Excellent post here. People look back with revisionist history and say it's a bad drive. Most forget the things that happened that night hadn't happened in HISTORY before that. SBSW got the last laugh though. AO couldn't SBSW's bridle after that fluke.

He raced two mile heats in the same day. The 2nd mile being a world record on a half-mile, slow, bullring track. If he can run two miles in a day with the 2nd one being faster, I think going a mile and half wouldn't be too tough. He was built like an absolute beast.

@indricablurrmyIS I noticed that too. If you freeze it @ 1:45 you can see the "claw like" shadow at the bottom. My personal belief is that it was simply a bird's shadow being cast by the moonlight, but it is always fun to speculate.

Ryan Ross is a great songwriter. He is NOT a great lead vocalist. This is not even close to the Beatles. His voice is neither strong nor distinctive. Urie and PATD is gonna have more success because Urie is a much stronger frontman than Ross.

This will make you into a believer of the paranormal.
