As someone that's been practicing BJJ and kickboxing for 5 years, I really liked your explanation of ki. It makes sense that it is more about harmony with the activity that you are doing. As I practice Martial arts year after year I start to see how my training correlates with many activities that I do in life and how there is a sort of ki or harmony to whatever I pursue the longer I practice it. However I would call this more of a manifestation of sensitivity and timing. But call it what you want.

I enjoy your perspectives. You display both clarity and flexibility. Im an aspiring aikidoka coming out of several years training in a hard sytle, and the art has always greatly fascinated me. After a few intro sessions I had no doubts of Aikido's effectivness. It truly doesnt "look" applicable, you have to feel the flow of it. Cheers.

You have the more clear picture of the world than others...You might be a very good warrior...But aikido has weaknesses...
