On 10th December, 2008, on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, Adivasi Hakk Abhiyan affilitated to Lokshasan Andolan had organised a massive march on the Adivasi Development Project Office at Ghodegaon (Ambegaon Tehsil) of Pune District. More than 2000 adivasi men, women and children marched on the office demanding their basic fundamental rights like getting caste certificates, livelihood issues and other basic human rights issues.

The Ishara Morcha (Warning March)under the leadership of Justice Kolse-Patil (President, Lokshasan Andolan) and Com. Vilas Sonawane (Working President, Lokshasan Andolan)gave warning to the authorities to undo the injustice meted to the adivasis of Pune District who have been even denied their rightful identity!

Com. Damodar Gaikwad, Rajendra Gaikwad, Vijay More, Bhausaheb Patole, Kondibhau Kale, Shripati Pawar, Santosh Khandve, Santosh Kale, Sanjay Pardhi, Sangita Kedari, Tanaji Pardhi addressed the rally on this occasion. (less info)
