History student; loves anything to do with C16th English history!!

A general big thank you to everyone who has subscribed and to all the lovely comments!!!



Admittedly I hate rules about posting. However after receiving several comments over the past couple of weeks which have offended people including myself and I have received complaints in the past about some stuff, I have to unfortunately post this:

- Please do not post links to porn sites etc. I am not a prude, but really it is just weird posting that sort of stuff on a video to do with Tudor history (not really that erotic a topic!)

- Please do not spam. No advertisement! I already am sick of the countless adverts on TV let alone on here.

- On a channel to do with Tudor history it is inevitable that religion will be discussed and that is absolutely fine. But religious bigotry is not acceptable. Luckily this hasn't been a problem on my videos, but I have been on other videos to do with this period and seen offensive posts attacking Catholicism or Protestantism. Criticism about religion is of course acceptable. Cheap nasty insults are not.

- Everyone has the right to dislike certain figures form this period. I certainly don't admire all figures (*cough* the 3rd Duke of Norfolk *cough*). Criticism is absolutely fine and can develop into a good debate. However insults are just childish. In the past certain posters have gone to certain videos purely to post insults about a figure in history. But really, what is the point in this? It only makes you appear childish and ill-informed. I don't actually mark negatives or positives on my comments (except once or twice), and I try to leave the messages for other people to reply to. But I often feel so tempted to remove unpleasant comments.

These 'rules' probably make me appear stuffy and bossy. But I just want to stop unnecessary offensive comments.
