Influenced by classic singer-songwriters such as Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and contemporary artists such as Ryan Adams, Josh Rouse, Mindy Smith, Tift Merritt and Kathleen Edwards, Lisa is a versatile singer-songwriter whose music has been described as delicate acoustic roots pop with heartfelt lyrics, gorgeous melodies and stunning vocals.

She has released three acclaimed albums 'Slipstream'(2003), 'Lost Again'(2005) and 'Clouds with Silver' (2008) that have received airplay across the world including Bob Harris's BBC Radio 2 shows. Her song 'Dragonfly' was played on his 'Best of British' show which featured the best British songwriters and in December 2006 she was personally asked to do a live session and interview on the show. February 2007 saw her invited to appear as the special guest at a 'Bob Harris presents..Americana' showcase at London's Borderline. In 2007 she also released an iTunes only acoustic album, 'Lost Again - The Acoustic Sessions'.

A compelling live performer, Lisa has performed prestigious venues in the UK, Europe, NYC and Vancouver and opened for many respected artists including Chuck Prophet, Kathryn Williams, Brian Kennedy, The Handsome Family, Devon Sproule, The Hot Club of Cowtown, The Deadstring Brothers, Eileen Rose, Rod Picott, Gina Villalobos, Corb Lund, Boo Hewerdine, Eve Selis, Jess Klein, Johnathan Rice, and Kate Campbell. First album 'Slipstream' captured a very acoustic sound while 'Lost Again', produced by Gabriel Minnikin, a former member of acclaimed Canadian alt-country band, The Guthries, took her blend of exquisitely melodic country pop to another level with beautiful lush arrangements and an increase in instrumentation.

Her latest album 'Clouds with Silver' was co-produced with respected NY musician and producer Brad Albetta (Martha Wainwright, Teddy Thompson) and also features some of New Yorks most outstanding musicians. A couple of tracks also features strings by one of Nashvilles most acclaimed producers David Henry (Josh Rouse, REM, Steve Earle). Like Lisas previous albums, Clouds with Silver is available on iTunes, Amazon, Fish Records and distributed through Proper Distribution who feel it is a very strong and confident piece of work that deserves to be heard. It has earned even more glowing press reviews, airplay on BBC Radio 2 and other radio shows and been the most successful release to date. In December Lisa was made Artist to Watch 2008 at Acoustic Café, radios best international showcase for acoustic music. In 2008 she also played some of New Yorks most prestigious acoustic venues, supported Eve Selis on tour and had one of her songs, the acclaimed Dragonfly, feature in an independent movie in LA.

This year, following a publishing deal with a much respected publishers in New York City, Lisa has moved to the US and been performing showcases, recording brand new material and continuing to earn new fans on either side of the pond.
