I started to play the piano at the age of 3. At that time I had only an organ at home, so I was able to play the piano exclusively when taking lessons at my teacher's house. I once gave up the lessons at the age of 10 since I got tired of all those etudes of Czerny. After a few years, however, one of the TV dramas depicting Chopin's International Piano Competition inspired a lot of interests in me, and I started to play the piano again. It was the first time when I was exposed to the great works by Chopin and other classical/romantic/impressioni st composers. Since then I have been playing the piano almost without any formal professional instructions although there were several years of being away from it.

I love Chopin the best of all. I consider myself as an intermediate amateur pianist. However, I would like to upload some difficult pieces in the future when ready.

Now, I live in Kawasaki City near Tokyo, but I may be relocating to Honolulu, Hawaii in the near future. Hope I will be able to keep playing the piano over there.
