Continue to present more videos on all aspects of the militia and its dynamic ability. Idea: for training simulation site building take a quantity of pallets of the same size. Pull scrap plastic siding off a construction site to include the border edge pieces. Nail siding to pallet as a modular wall and you can set up and change your training site as needed and simulate any type of structure. Look at the newer vids on Libertytreeradio for reference. I refuse to be political about this. I am absolutely, undeniably opposed to giving the government more power than they already have. You think their problems are bad? Wait until you see their solutions!
In this brilliant speech given by Ronald Reagan in 1961, the Gipper lays out with succinct simplicity HOW advocates of Socialism will try to sell their products to you, their devestating effects, and WHAT we could and should do in order to stop the slippery slope of Socialism.
Having lived in Vladivostok and Moscow, Russia for teaching opportunities, I have seen the devestating effects of socialism/communism----when too few people have too much power over so many people. I am fundamentally, diametrically opposed to giving ANY political group more power and will only support politicians and causes that actually give power back to the people.
I do not apologize for making this video and for getting involved in this political issue. I can no longer sit on the sidelines while a power struggle in Washington---that would fundamentally change this nation and each of our lives---is taking place. I will not, through my silence, be an advocate of socialism.
Please contact your representatives, get involved in the debate and study up on the facts. We've reached a critical juncture in our nation's history and none of us can afford to be apathetic.

On October 13th, 2009, Elder Dallin H. Oaks of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, gave an incredible sermon on Religious Freedom in America at BYU-Idaho. What follows are but a few excerpts from that talk.
"Noted author and legal commentator Hugh Hewitt described the current circumstance this way:
'There is a growing anti-religious bigotry in the United States. . . .
'For three decades people of faith have watched a systematic and very effective effort waged in the courts and the media to drive them from the public square and to delegitimize their participation in politics as somehow threatening.'
For example, a prominent gay-rights spokesman gave this explanation for his objection to our Churchs position on Californias Proposition 8:
'Im not intending it to harm the religion. I think they do wonderful things. Nicest people. . . . My single goal is to get them out of the same-sex marriage business and back to helping hurricane victims.'
Aside from the obvious fact that this objection would deny free speech as well as religious freedom to members of our Church and its coalition partners, there are other reasons why the public square must be open to religious ideas and religious persons."
