A selection of London Film School Students' film exercises made in their second term at the school. A 16mm colour exercise with non-synchronous sound made by a unit of six students, each one directing their own project on a rotating basis. Shot on interior and/or exterior locations with 200ft of film stock . Shooting schedule 1 day, post production 5 days over a 22 day period, editing on Final Cut Pro, and dubbing time 60 minutes. Since 2006 these films have been made as a response to paintings from the National Gallery.
A 35mm colour studio exercise made by a unit of six students, each one having a specific responsibility within the unit. Shot on sets constructed by the students with the possible addition of exterior sequences, using 3600ft of film stock and digital sound recording.
Shooting schedule 5 days studio including rehearsal and 2 days location. Post Production on Avid Film Composer and Protools Audio Workstation 21 days. Dolby SR mix, and dubbing time of 4 hours.
