Over five years ago, Lemar released his debut album Dedicated, ushering in a new exciting juncture in UK soul music. Marking a new chapter in his music career, Lemar released his fourth studio album, The Reason in November 2008. Based on his incredible vocals and fine songwriting, The Reason reveals why Lemar is an artist ready to take his place amongst classic soul singers in a cutting edge modern Pop / R&B setting.

'Weight of the World' is the second single to be taken from the album and will be relased on 2nd March 2009.

lemar was my neaigbeir in london, Northumberland park, I knew his mum, she was nice lady but unfortunatly shed died two days before lemar came pop idel, we were all voting for him that time to be number one, I am glad that he is No (1) now.
