Penthouse, I too am from Montreal and saw Roy may times...I actually had tickets to see him when it was announced he had died. I have all Roy's albums as this is the master...the best of the best! Thank you SO much Lee32uk for uploading Roy's video's. I can get my daily fix now!!

Hi, thanks for posting the vids of Roy,he was the best ,I had lost all my recording of his over the years, thank goodness for YT and guys like you.I thought I was pretty fair guitarist but when I heard Roy play I sold my guitar and gave it up,cheers mate,Rick

Thanks Lee for all the great Roy Buchanan vids. I think he was called the best unknown guitarist in the world. I was lucky to see him in Montreal many years ago and he did not disappoint. thanks from penthouse10

I had the great fortune of working with Roy in the seventies. By that I mean I was in another band in the club he most frequently appeared in the Philadelphia area. I knew right away he was someone very "special." When he played "everyone" stopped to listen. If you noticed, he used no stomp boxes. I have a copy of his PBS special "The Greatest Unknown Guitar Player" He is truly missed. Thanks.
