Your sample lesson and sample pages hooked me. I went from not being able to play a single (non-open) note to sight reading and playing along perfectly with the sample track in just 15 minutes! Now that I've ordered it, your book will be a great supplementary learning method now, so that later I can understand that darn Berklee method. Thank you, and I'll keep a look out for Volume 2! -Hilary Buckley

"The Guitar Lesson Companion" will work well for you if you have a good teacher. I did not write a lot of text in the book because a good teacher will know the best way to explain the concepts to you. You can learn what other teachers and students say about it and try a free sample by visiting the website.

You are right, but I'm going to stick to what I do best: Teach. I recorded all these videos by myself, without any overdubs or splicing. I'm rather "Old School" that way.

If you dig the content here and you want to master these skills, pick up your copy of "The Guitar Lesson Companion" and realize your potential.

Extremely well thought out and organized. A teaching inspiration to all of us guitar teachers out here. Only one little glitch is the sharp audio sibilance "ssses" in the videos. Turn down the treble about 4k on the mic and kick up the bass about 2k.
You can take the audio from these and re-edit it in one of the popular prorams and pull that shrill "essing" back a bit. But other than that Great JOB professor Susan!
