The first thing most people notice about me is my head. At the age of 11, I lost all of my hair to a 'disease' called Alopecia Areata. Besides having no hair, I am perfectly healthy. This is a condition that affects about 5 million people in America and 1.7 percent of the total population. It's not been an easy journey, though it's one that I am eternally grateful for.
My mission is to generate the conversation of love around the world. I knew from a very young age that I was meant to travel the world, meet my brothers and sisters and share the message of love. Who knew, that the access to fulfilling on this destiny would be through losing my hair? It first taught me incredible lessons of understanding and compassion for humanity, and then after 19 long years of wearing wigs I'm finally learning the biggest lesson-the ability to love myself. After all that's what we're here for, right? To love and be loved.
You'll find I share a lot about my first book, I Love You More. I finally found something that aligns with who I am and I am fulfilling on my mission by writing this book and getting its message out in the world. We sold 179,000 copies self-published and have recntly teamed up with Sourcebooks to bring our message to even more people. We are now available at our fabulous galleries as well as major and independent book stores everywhere. (and online at amazon and B&N)
CoCreating Our Reality and The 100-Day Reality Challenge also allow me to fulfill on my mission of meeting my brothers and sisters and spreading the message of love. I sometimes have to remind the Universe that I want to *physically* travel the world...but it is pretty extraordinary the global community that we are able to reach sitting in our pajamas :-)

I watched your mothers day reading for the book you wrote. I just want to say what an absaloutley wonderful book! You have such a great spirit! Such an inspiration! And this is definatly a book I would love to buy for my sister and my two young nieces!

My brother died of cancer a few years ago as well as a 15 year old cousin last year and I always told them Bald Is Beautiful and them in their natural form! God Bless
