I really like my youtube audience. Some of you have the craziest names, and I love your comments.

I've posted almost all my films here, including the many songs I animated for Sesame Street between 1989 and 2000.

Visit my web site, funonmars.com if you'd like to purchase a DVD of all my cartoons. (Not Sesame Street) I usually ship them out the same day or next day. I've sold hundreds.

As for sharing videos, it all starts to get too complicated for me so I don't do it-- please don't take it personally! Since I'm struggling with facebook, I decided to accept friends here on youtube too. (2009)
Name: Sally
I animated or directed all the videos on my channel. I'm happy to share all the animation I've done with a new audience. I sell a dvd of my work at my website.
City: Northridge, CA
Hometown: Chatham, NJ
Country: United States
Occupation: Animating off and on for 35 years!
Interests and Hobbies: Horse Racing! I'm hooked!
Movies and Shows: Biggest influence on my cartoons would be the Max Fleischer cartoons and Busby Berkeley musicals.
Books: Two favorite authors: Barbara Comyns, a weird 20th century British author who no one seems to have read, and T.C. Boyle, who's never as good as he could be. Lately I've been reading more mysteries, and Western History. I loved Larry McMurtry's "Lonesome Dove."

And also, it would be an honor to be YouTube friends with you. :D

I just want to say thanks, Sally, for adding fun and some insanity to my life with your animation. It would have been a lot more boring for me growing up without it.

Sally Cruikshank!! You're work has had a profound influence on my art and design, opening doors in my imagination all the way back in kindergarden, then when I rediscovered your work as at late teen studying illustration. I'd be honoured if you'd have a look at some of my animated work, I'm considering making a full blown short to submit to festivals next year. I work in flash on a wacom cintiq display tablet, have you tried one of those babies out? They're amazingly natural and responsive!
laughingsal (2 weeks ago)
Flash software offers more opportunities for experimentation than most people see in it. The watercolor look is very hard to create digitally for me. Also it's hard to even know what size frame to create because of wide screens and cel phones and youtube. My little tablet laptop with attached pen is harder to work with than my Wacom tablet.

How have you handled the transition from "hand made" to software based animation. The available software gives me a migraine!
