Thin cardboard catches fire in about 15 sec. That is awesome massive power...........First attempt of building a parabolic solar cooker made out of a satelite dish. The reflecting material ist glued with spray glue on to the surface of the satelite dish. By the way, it took me just 20min. to build this very simple thing. The material is a very cheap rescue blanket from a first aid kid. Everybody has one of those in the car. It was about 8.30am in the backyard of my parents place. Ambient temperature was about 15°C in the middle of May 2009. Have fun watching this!!!
