Look at these knees
through the holes in my jeans
(I'm not quite whole)
you can see, that I've fallen once or twice on these knees
not a good fall either...
one of those, sprint so fast
you don't even think to rest and then you stumble
it starts as a trip, that goes to an adjunct slip
and then you SLAM!

now wait a moment, I'll just stop there...

We've all had the embarrassing face plant
cement plastering my flesh experiences
physically, theologically, and emotionally draining experiences.
but you said, 'rest for the weary.'
and I am here in my battered, beatn' weary being...
with tears streaming down to the ground.
where I lay now...

with this 1,000 pound yoke
a burdening load which I do not have to bear alone..

I get some stuff in the mail, I fall from a tree, a skateboard trick goes wrong and I talk about some life questions I've had... then the realization I came too.
