** The Hans **

Korean always call themselves Hangyeore(Hanminjok), not the english word Korean, and the word Korea was derived from the name of a country which was founded by the Hans. Han means Korean, gyeore means tribe/race in Korean language. Therefore, Hangyeore means Korean people.

Daehanminguk(Hanguk) is the official name of the Republic of Korea. It means The Great Han People's Nation.

	korikhan (1 week ago) Welcome to your help any time. How to write Korean words with Alphabet is always a diffulcut matter because Hangul the Korean characters and writing system is more scientific and logical than any others. So it has been changed several times in order to find more efficient way to write and it appear to be changing soon again.
