If you are interested, Merck order code for formaldehyde solution 37% w/10% methanol stabilizer for analysis is 1.04003.2500 and costs here, in Greece, about 20 euros (2500ml). If you buy it make sure the bottle is always closed tightly especially if you keep it in your room. It is deadly toxic and irritant. On my next video, I intend to synthesize aspirin or something like that.

I also started since about 10 years old being interested in chemistry, physics, nuclear physics and electronics! Now I'm sure about what I want to study ;-) and that is chemistry and nuclear physics of course!... I'm doing experiments every day and I spent all my money on reagents :-D but unfortunately I haven't uploaded any videos yet. I will upload my first video this week, about "Marquis Reagent" and detection of amphetamines, methamphetamines, drugs and aspirin.
