Video Messages to Congressional Representatives for the Fostering Connections to Success Act. This Act focuses on educational stability, health care oversight and encourages sibling placement. It also extends foster care and adoption assistance payments to age 21 and grants tribes federal funds to care for Native American children and youth.

Across the nation, more than 400 groups have signed a letter calling for passage of the Kinship Caregiver Support Act (HR 2188/ S 661) as a way for children to leave foster care and to help relative caregivers. This playlist contains some state voices calling for reform.

The bipartisan Kinship Caregiver Support Act (S. 661/HR. 2188) would help children currently living with relatives in foster care leave the system for good through legal guardianships. It would also help relative caregivers find other services and supports to help them care for these children.
