As you can see, the protection of the young people in Germany is very hard, the more fun a game is, the higher are the ratings... And of course Quake IV is a really good game, so it couldn't be sold everywhere, just imagine: The kids playing it might like it and have fun!!!
(If you think this sound ironic: It is!)

So, there is no blood, no wounds, no corpses etcetcetc... AND: Some scenes are banned! (Wow, it did not have a real story in the beginning, but now even this story-sequence is cut, you don't know, why you're suddenly a Strogg...)
