I have becomed slighted obsessed with watching/listening to Mark Kermode..

i saw 'Paranormal Activity' on my own in a tiny screen (more like a large telly) in a small cinema in cornwall. I like horror films particularly 'tense and suspense' and this really spooked me. I think some of the tension is lost when seen with a large audience, all that coughing, chattering, and mobile phones bleeping, really takes the sense of immersion out of the film that you need to fully appreciate.
I suspect it will be enjoyed more when released on dvd and watched at home.

About time we got a review on here. I watched it on opening day here, and Mark's more or less nailed it. The film is too damn long to even make a guilty pleasure. As for Emmerich; When is he going to attempt something fresh or original? The guy makes Uwe Boll look like Ang Lee.
