Everything Happens For A Reason (original) mystimayhem - 489 views - 1 week ago
she kissed her mom goodbye packed her bags for LA she was gonna be a cliche to somebody someday
she quickly learned her assets to see how far she could get she slept well the way the moon lifted silouhettes
she smelled like cheap calogne wearing what she had on the night before and keeping score trying less and losing more

she had enough stories by the time she turned 20 (30) to write a novel a movie a hit radio song then do it again
conflicted by the pain of (not) living day to day
(her mama used to say ) her doctor had to say
eveyrthing happens for a reason for reasons i gotta believe
and I remember
gotta remember who i was who I am where i want to be where i need to be
I gotta believe in me....

she said if she knew shed never see her mama or her daddy when she walked out that door
she wouldnt have thought twice about keeping her feet and dreams at home
her life is a rolling coefficient of friction
and her mistakes are scars reminding her of who she was

she cant tell between the blue and the grated lines
she sees hard like a jawbreaker in her spine
she works hard but she aint seen nothing in this life
she rolls hard but shes going to the bright light
she hears echoe in the distance shes gotta ride back nigh
shes got a mission to accomplish before she dies... she hangs her head and says

Uncle Joe Surges into Iraq kenrg - 735 views - 2 years ago
Your Uncle Joe Bile supports his president in sending 20,000+ more troops into Iraq. The only way to win is to refuse to lose, even if it takes another 30 years. Real men don't pull out!

Viacom knows you watched this video kenrg - 12,562 views - 1 year ago
UPDATE, JULY 15, 2008:

The information in this video is no longer true or relevant. According to the YouTube blog, "Viacom, MTV and other litigants have backed off their original demand for all users' viewing histories and we will not be providing that information. ... In addition, Viacom and the plaintiffs had originally demanded access to users' private videos, our search technology, and our video identification technology. Our lawyers strongly opposed each of those demands and the court sided with us."

This is great news, and hopefully some of the pressure that we all put on Viacom and Judge Stanton had something to do with the reversal.

More info is on the YouTube blog:
http://www.youtube.com/blog?en try=AnA3ulGpWsE

So, again, the video is no longer relevant, which is why I'm turning off comments. Listed below is the original description, which you can now ignore.

============================== =====

Protest the decision:
http://www.petitiononline.com/ privacy9/petition.html

The judge in the Viacom v. YouTube/Google case has just ordered that YouTube/Google turn over records of every viewing of every video since the site launched.

That includes your private user data of every video you have watched.

New York Times article:
http://tinyurl.com/5td7hr

Is it time to boycott Viacom? Or is it time to stop watching YouTube (to protect our privacy)?

UPDATE: YouTube responds on their blog:
http://www.youtube.com/blog?en try=Gh2N9xyKK8k

UPDATE TWO: Since recording this, I've realized that my anger is misplaced. Viacom can ask for whatever they want, the real villain here is the judge who agreed with them, rather than follow the U.S. constitution's privacy provisions. Any protests should be focussed on the judge and the ruling (in a peaceful, non-violent, and legal manner, of course).

Who owns the copyright to the copyright law? kenrg - 4,497 views - 1 year ago
Yet another vlog about copyright... The state of Oregon actively protects their copyright on Oregon state law. Printing the law without permission can get you into a heap of trouble.

Please do a video response reading a section of Oregon's Revised Statutes (link below). Oh, and, by the way, the Oregon State Legislative Council can bite my ass.

I know there is no "replacement" for King George...but I was curious if you were not tempted to adopt a new feline?
He was a beautiful cat - no doubt - you just seem (imho) like a great "animal person"
