The 2012 World Off Road Championship Series (WORCS) season got underway last weekend at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, Calif., with Monster Energy Kawasaki's off-road racers looking to repeat their outstanding performance from last season. Taylor Robert was the clear favorite going into the weekend as he had commanded the win at Glen Helen last season by leading every lap of the two-day race weekend. Armed with his new 2012 Kawasaki KX™450F, Robert came to Glen Helen looking for a second-consecutive victory on the famous Southern California race course. When the gate dropped for the main event on Saturday, Robert got a great start and moved in behind the leader. On lap four, he put his KX450F to work on one of Glen Helen's steep hill climbs to take over the lead and proceeded to check out. He collected the checkered flag on Saturday and took second on Sunday to secure his second-consecutive overall win at Glen Helen. Teammate Justin Soulé also got the weekend off to a great start, earning third on the podium on Saturday, and took fifth on Sunday to finish fifth overall. The newest member of the team, Bobby Garrison, proved his mettle going 4-4 over the weekend to finish fourth overall. After an impressive performance at the opening round of the WORCS, the Monster Energy Kawasaki off road team hopes to carry the momentum into the next round of the WORCS in Primm, Nev., in three weeks.

In December, Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green wrapped up its 30th year with a Kawasaki Ride Day at Pala Raceway near San Diego, Calif. The day was a huge success as green bikes invaded the home of the 2011 AMA National Motocross season finale where former Team Green rider Ryan Villopoto wrapped up his first 450cc class championship. More than 500 riders came out for beginner dirt bike school, pro rider autograph sessions, 2012 KX250F and KX450F demo rides and and advanced rider clinic taught by multi-time AMA champion Destry Abbott. Overall, it was a great way to wrap up Kawasaki Team Green's 30th anniversary.

Electric Power Steering (EPS) lets you take command of your ride so that you can easily negotiate every turn. This is accomplished by the system's ability to intelligently recognize current riding conditions and automatically adjust to optimal settings. Power assistance is greatest at low speeds or when stopped and assistance is reduced as speed increases to help ensure predictable handling. The result is enhanced ride quality and control with significantly reduced bump steer and handlebar kickback. For product details, visit http://bit.ly/mWwFqU.

Take full control and advantage of 2WD or 4WD capabilities. The Brute Force® 750 4x4i EPS allows riders to transition smoothly between 2WD and 4WD modes without the jerking reaction caused by automatic engagement. And unlike the Polaris Sportsman XP® 850 EPS, which can automatically switch on 4WD without the rider knowing, the Brute Force 750 4x4i EPS doesn't believe in surprises on the trail. No surprises means riders can ascend and descend hills and attack trail transitions with complete confidence. For product details, visit http://bit.ly/mWwFqU.
