Georg Kajanus is the creator of such bands as Eclection, Sailor ('Glass of Champagne' - 'Girls Girls Girls'), DATA and Noir (with Tim Dry of Tik and Tok).

After the break-up of his group Sailor in the late Seventies, Kajanus decided to experiment with electronic music with his new project, DATA, which consisted of Kajanus and Frankie & Phillipa Boulter.

The classically orientated title track of DATA's first album, 'Opera Electronica', was used as the theme music to the short film, 'Towers Of Babel' (1981), which was directed by Jonathan Lewis and starred Anna Quayle and Ken Campbell. 'Towers Of Babel' was nominated for a BAFTA award in 1982 and won the Silver Hugo Award for Best Short Film at the Chicago International Film Festival of the same year.

Kajanus followed the electro/electronica flavors of 'Opera Electronica' with two more albums: the experimental '2-Time' (1983) and the Country & Western-inspired electronica album 'Elegant Machinery' (1985).

In the late nineties, Kajanus left Sailor Mark II to form the poetic-techno duo Noir with Tim Dry (previously of Tik and Tok). Although never given a proper release, Noir's single 'Walking' was used as the backing for an unprecedented eight music videos.

Noir's CD 'Strange Desire' was released in September 2007 on Angel Air Records.

He has multiply talents, he is a musician, model, actor, singer, dancer, producer, songwriter, choreographer. Right now he is a dance teacher, and recently was a back up dancer for chris browns performance at msg on 12/21, and also he will be dancing in this movie that will be coming out in January 2008 called (how she move).
