We did a small Easter trip to Palmira where I finally found the right wind to get me flying in a paraglider. Its a 7 Km dirt track up the mountain to where the take off point is at so I did that on my ATV and then its a 40 minutes flight back down to the valley. Its possible to learn how to fly a paraglider here in only one week. Just one more reason why not to miss Cali on your SA travels!

A couple of bikers has crashed here in Colombia in March, so we took a full day out to recover the wrecks. First we got Pauls bike released from police custody in El Bordo south of Popayan and then we collected Kurts Buell in Popayan. Both bikers had surgery after their accidents and will spend weeks/month on recovering themself.

After documenting my latest motorcycle expedition, 8 month long, 35.000 km, 12 countries and 15 states from Chile to Oregon and across to Florida, in 50 video episodes here, I have decided to continue to make videos of my adventures - because they are far from over!

About Me: My name is Mikkel Thomsen and I was born in Denmark in '75. My Colombian wife Diana and I just had our first daughter called Laura. My parents are Søren & Lotte Thomsen. I have a younger sister called Katrine, who have two beautiful girls Ida & Agnes with her boyfriend Rasmus.

Well dude about that thing you just told me, shit it's crazy. The only thing I can say about that is that they should be punished very hard in those cases, they are basically stealing from you and nobody can accept that, even if they are starving. Next time (hopefully there's no next time) get the last name and uniform number (name tag) you can do a lot of things w those.
