In the beginning there was nothing. Only an idea.
The story of Kihachiro Onitsuka, who created a shoe that mimics the concave shape of the octopus suckers.
The story is told using paper folded creations by origami artist was Sipho Mabona.
The spot has been directed by Tim Schierwater and produced by Florian Liertz at Element e, Hamburg.
Stop motion animation by Kathrin Albers at Stoptrick Animation, with director of photography Jim Lacy.
Visual effects made at Nform, by 3D artists: André Junker, Christoffer Wolters, Sven Hauth, Thomas Belitzki and Tobias Houfek (Learn more at Maxon.) Post production was done by Ben Liese and Adrew Orbahn at Acolori.
Sound and music by Steven Schwalbe and Thomas Suess at Audioforce. Mixed by Pierre Brand at Primetime Studios.
