I never said i was better, even though it seems implied. I'm just saying that Americans as a mass generalisation are very ignorant towards anything out of their own country. They generally believe all those stereotypes...that their own media created. that was all.

I agree with you to a point. I agree 100% that your car should be well maintained but...Two wrongs don't make a right. A driver must be in full control of there car at all times. That includes watching the road ahead. Have you ever seen a car shut down due to electrical or sensor problems not known to the driver? I have been to two such accidents. I believe you should try to move your car off the road but most people can't think that fast. I am a Full-time Firefighter on a Heavy Rescue. I can't tell you how many times I have responded to crashes envoling vehicles broken down on a "shoulder". not to mention the Fire truck that get hit on the highways or the cop cars. Explain this to me. Some people should not drive. If you are in care and control of your vehicle you are responsible for what you do.
