2008 saw plenty of failed come back attempts by artists, however 09 was a different story. With hip hip in jeopardy fans were in need of salvation, here are the top 5 comebacks of 2009:

#5) Not exactly a comeback, but a step in the right direction, Shyne was released from prison and then got deported to Belize
#4) 10 years after the original Blackout album - Redman & Method Man dropped the sequel - Blackout 2
#3) After a 5 year hiatus Jadakiss dropped his first album on def jam and sold an impressive 134k units in the first week
#2) 14 years after the first cuban lynx album Raekwon dropped the sequel independently to much critical acclaim and got voted to time magazines top 10 albums of the year.
and the #1 comeback of 2009 was Eminem.
