Yes the patient had an opposing tooth but occlusion was not the target of this video, this is a whole different subject. I try and achieve point contacts on marginal ridges and cusp tips with no tripodisation.

I have never found a problem with investment cracking even though I don't apply a wax layer over the bar. I use 4mm Metrodent plastic sprues and Shera fina 2000 investment. These work a treat.

The pots I use are made from a mould taken from a Vita stain kit. They are poured in different colours of acrylic for my ceramic mixes. This system makes it very easy to organise my build up and re-use the ceramics on the second build knowing exactly what I have.
