The Nichiren Shu is a Buddhist Order founded by Nichiren Shonin (1222-1282). We believe that the Lotus Sutra (Saddharma-Pundarika Sutra) represents the embodiment of the genuine teachings of Sakyamuni Buddha, the founder of Buddhism.
