About Me:

I am a semi-retired artist, author and riddle-raveller (I have written hidden treasure books containing clues and riddles to the whereabouts of hidden treasure : see Spirit of the Stones on jonzflicks channel, YouTube)

On my visiting-card, I list (see below) the stuff I have done over the years, ending in this, my new interest in movie-making for YouTube. I have many stories and subjects yet to cover.

....................

John Howard Worsley and John Howard Wright are the same artist/author
Earlier paintings by John are signed with his real name: John Howard Wright.
This is evident on certain prints.
Since 1994, John has adopted the pen-and-paint-name of John Howard Worsley.

Born 1939: John Howard Wright : 1956 trained as a Technical Illustrator for the Admiralty : 1966 Ran Technical Publications department for Isle of Wight engineering firm : 1970 became a free-lance artist.

1983 by pen-name John Worsley, author of the hidden-treasure book Spirit of the Stones.

1987 presented to HM Queen Elizabeth and HRH Prince Philip when two of his paintings were the official gift of the Isle of Wight to Australia, to commemorate the bicentenary of the sailing of the First Fleet to Australia from the Motherbank anchorage off Ryde.

1994 author of Joseph's Magic Albatross. Now adopting the Worsley nom-de-plume.
Since 1996 John has developed his "Echoes of the Home Front" series of paintings and stories.
November 1999 A large canvas entitled "One Ran up the Clock" presented at a Gala Banquet in the London Science Museum to honour Sir Harold Ridley, inventor of the intraocular lens which saved the eyesight of
more than 200 million people.

Now semi-retired: John is pottering and playing in his small home studio.
The latest venture is a series of movie presentations on YouTube: See jonzflicks

A brief glimpse into my journey to this point can be seen in "Art and Alchemy" YT

Hope you enjoy my offerings, some of which may seem a little odd but they all come from my heart!

I am still learning and would direct anyone to the urgelt channel on YouTube. Great treasures here!
