Lovebug: A Jonas Story Chapter 192

It was 3 days after the break up with Ryan. Callie decided to go to the Jonas House. She needed to see Joe. She didnt know what she would say or what she would do, but she needed to see him again.

She started walking to his house, and then she would run, but walk again, until finally she was at his door. She walked in, and saw him sitting at his desk, studying. the encyclopedia.

Callie: Joe? Are you actually studying right now? and the encyclopedia?

Joe swiveled around in his chair to look at her.
Joe: Yeah (in a tone that showed he was shocked himself) Ive been studying it for three days. I have no idea why. I started making sandwiches, but then I ran out of supplies. (he gestured to the huge stack of sandwiches in the corner of his room) so I started studying.

Callie: hmm, what have I done since then? Well, I broke up with Ryan..

Joe looked shocked and stared at her intently.

Callie: Can you give me a reason why I should have broken up with him?

He got up out of his chair and walked towards her, he swept her close to him in his arms and kissed her. When he let her out of his grasp, she felt dizzy and light headed.

Callie: Thats a good reason..
He laughed softly.

Joe: Thats just an action of my reason. My reason : I want to love you. I do love you, and I am serious about you. Does it scare me? Heck yeah, it scares the crap out of me! But you know what, Im glad it scares me. Because I realized Im only scared of losing you.

Callie: What if you freak out again?
Joe: I wont.
Callie: I think we should take it slow.
Joe: Okay!
He leapt towards her and kissed her lips. He held her waist tight, and kissed her with all his heart. He pushed her towards the wall, and held her up against him, her legs behind his back. He held her under her butt as he kissed her more and more deeply.

Callie: Umm, Joe. Slow. taking it SLOW.
He looked ashamed of his lack of self control and she giggled. He put her down and stepped slightly away from her.

He stepped closer again and hugged her. He leaned down and hugged her stomach. She laughed because he hugged her like a little kid. She kissed the top of his head and he lifted her up, throwing her over his shoulder. He ran around his room with her, and dumped her on his bed. He fell on her, only to hug her again, rolling around on his bed.

He stopped rolling when his face was inches from hers.
Joe: I love you.

She looked at him questioningly, waiting for him to take back what he said. He understood the look on her face.

He jumped up and took her hand, dragging her, and the stack of sandwiches, out the door. They drove to the shelter, and walked in. They gave the kids the sandwiches again, their faces lighting up for the second time.

Joe: I want to tell you guys something. that I didnt tell you last time.
The kids looked up at him.

He took both of Callies hands in his. He looked her in the eyes, and then looked out at the kids.
Joe: This girl right here, I love her.

One little girl said: I knew you loved her the first time you came.

Joe: Youre right. I did love her the first time we came. I loved her then, I love her even more now. Im going to marry her someday.

The little kids gasped with joy.
Joe: Yeah thats how I feel too. Im going to marry her. Not now, but one day I will. And THAT doesnt scare me.

He turned and looked at Callie, whose eyes were filled with water. She looked at the little kids and let out a breathless laugh, and leaned in to kiss him.

Callie: I love you too.
The kids let out an awww. and Joe and Callie grinned at each other as they kissed. (less info)
