john rah is a life long musician, writer and artist.

born: 1960 in canada

music: john rah started his music carrier like many musicians in the kitchen. pots and wooden spoons.

at age six he learn recorder in school.

at age 8 john started piano lessons and played until the end of high school.

at age 13 john fell in love with the trumpet and played every day in high school with five year of stage band and big band early mornings and after school. private trumpet lessons outside of school and a half a year in a drum and bugle core concentrating on breathing technique.

at age 19 he decided against a professional trumpet carrier in exchange for architecture.

at age 20 john discovered rock 'n' roll and bought his first acoustic guitar from a friend. a 1960 custom les paul came shortly after the buzzarts broke up in 1983 and his obsession for guitar and music increased dramatically over the next 18 years.

at age 26 his guitar teacher told him to stop taking lessons and find his own way. that was the end of note reading for his guitar. hour of active listening and playing most everyday to learn how to feel.

at age 36 after 16 years of blues scales, john rah took up his guitar like a boy in the ghetto takes up basketball looking for a way out. or in. 3 to 8 hours a day of playing put him in the league with stevie ray vaughan and other lovers of guitar.

at age 40 john found his own trance in music. he had become a master of improvisation.

for his first music event, john has started his own studio, john rah kitchen studio, and made 36 cds to show his music talent and improvisation skills. dark stage theater.

john is now working on getting the band back together for a film and world tour. and an awful lot of brilliant music.

writing: john rah is a word man. he writes science fiction and social critical rants and raves. he has been writing almost every day since he learned his love for words at the age of 18. john is taking time out from his other writing to concentrate on music.

internet: john studied web interface computer programming while founding an internet company. and it went tits up when the crooks who have stolen america took over, ah, what.

other obsessions: john is a creative genius, iq is out of the bell curve. john has been a full time thinker from birth, an extraordinary philosopher, poet, song writer, social, cultural and religious critic and torah and christian bible expert. john has a excellent understanding of world religions and power structures.

john has basic knowledge in myth, literature, science, history, mathematics, logic, metaphysics, german, german culture, canadian culture, world culture and has spent a little time in the third world countries of the americas.

john has an amazing talent for communication and motivation. he loves large events and is brutally optimistic even in the face of thieving dictatorship. he has sage and shamanistic qualities and is healthy of mind and spirit.
