I wonder what Grisham thinks of the upcoming election now that it's shaped up some more.
Good luck to John with his new book 'The Innocent Man'. It's a terrible indictment of the US justice system.
Miscarriages of justice are an international phenomenon too.
Google the name 'Eamonn O'Neill', the words 'investigative journalist' andthen the name 'Robert Brown' to read about a dreadful case in the UK which this journalist worked on for 11 years before the man in question was finally freed after spending 26 years - yes, that's 26 years - in jail for a crime he didn't commit. It's a terrible but inspiring story more people should know about.
I hope many people in America read Mr Grisham's superb and moving book and understand that not all prisoners have the help they need when innocently locked up - nor the support they need after being freed.
Thanks to John Grisham for using his mind, resources and ability to tell this story.
