After 6 months or so, the trains are now running again. The layout is almost done, but needs some more detailing and ballasting of the rails.

Same layout but with most of the rock work done and finally colored. Coloring was easy....a spray bottle for each color mixed with some water. Just push the trigger and watch! I am going for an old west feel and really liked how the rocks turned out in the end. You may notice I redid the mountain on the right side of the layout, and the bridges are new and custom built by my friend Dave (dstockwell169@roadrunner.com) . The buildings are all hand built form kits.

very interesting, i will keep this in my favourites to check out your progress in the future, much care has been taken on your layout its very good, i used to model in this scale for 30 years, but now i do O scale, my board, track , wiring are complete i have built two locos and two wagons so far and two trees now i work on a station building, i have a few videos of my progress so far.
