About Me:
I don't have time to run a network marketing business the traditional way. I'm a computer science PhD student and if you've gone through grad school, then you know what I mean when I say I spend more time in my lab than in my home.
It was around 12 months ago that I was introduced to network marketing but after a lot of hard work and wasted time, all I saw was my newly enrolled distributors dropping off within 90 days of joining me.
It just isn't a professional career when you're generating MLM leads by waiting to bump into people in the street and the bank, or chasing family and friends with a flip chart and a comp plan.
Even if you're ok with it, your new recruits hardly ever have the thick skin to take that kind of rejection for long. No sooner do you recruit them, then they drop off and sell out on their dreams.
That was my experience for 12 months--it was like trying to build a sand-castle at high-tide.
My dreams of financial freedom have always been important to me. So I learned to recruit the traditional way and went from computer geek to social animal. It did little good.

You are absolutely right about the lead generation problem - It is truly huge. Thank god for Web 2.0 - however some people still have a problem learning that. Sometimes I think step by step training is the best.
