Jihlava IDFF

13th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival 2009 / October 27 - November 1, 2009

The Jihlava IDFF is the largest festival of creative documentary in Central and Eastern Europe. Our important aim is to critically discuss the movies and their authors. The central axis of the festival program comprises three competitions: Opus Bonum which searches for the best international documentary, Between the Seas, presenting the most interesting films from Central and Eastern Europe, and Czech Joy that covers Czech documentary landscape. This year, we introduce a new section of experimental documentary films. The festival program is completed by various accompanying events (theatre productions, concerts, authors' readings etc.) as well as the largest Industry section in Central and Eastern Europe.
