I am in no way affiliated with Microsoft. This is for educational purposes only! [However, I did not know whether to put this under "Education" or "How to & Styles."]

Figured this out at around 1:30 in the morning. I got annoyed with the Windows Genuine Advantage popup so I did something about it.
And since I saw no other videos showing how to do this (or any forums telling about this), I decided to make this to show (or rather tell; it was late so I didn't feel like getting out CamStudio) how Windows XP users can get rid of that annoying installation wizard.
I don't know how to do this for any other operating system. I'm sorry.
If you ask something that could be answered by looking at the description, I will answer you (if I have time), delete your comment, and then, if you continue to ask obvious questions, I will block you.
Thanks for watching.
Edit: Unsure why, but I still got the update on the thirteenth after doing this. If anyone is unable to update, try checking Internet Explorer on Microsoft's site on automatic updates.
Quote from Microsoft's update page:
"1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Depending on which Control Panel view you use, Classic or Category, do one of the following: * Click System, and then click the Automatic Updates tab. * Click Performance and Maintenance, click System, and then click the Automatic Updates tab.
3. Click the option that you want. Make sure Automatic Updates is not turned off."
Check history of updates (just click the link on the page when you follow the steps above with IE). You can Google the needed page, but you still need IE. (Doesn't work on browsers other than Internet Explorer.)
