On July 9, 2009, National Public Radio said: "As a candidate, President Obama signaled to teachers unions that he was open to the idea of linking teacher pay to student performance. Now, his administration is moving more aggressively to promote it." They then said that no matter what the National Education Association said that merit pay would probably pass because both democrats and republicans supported it. That's when I posted yesterday's video.

Here is what I see as the major arguments against "merit pay" for teachers.

I am a public school teacher in a Title 1 (low icome) school. I am about to begin my 6th year teaching elementary students who struggle in academics. This is my OPINION and I do not represent all teachers everywhere. Thank you for watching and listening!

This Is our granddaughter Lila Marie she just turned 1 years old on April 6th 2009.
She started playing the keyboard at 6months old. She also sings and dances.
