i rented a car from quite a charming (& handsome) Israeli at Eldan rental car company and drove to the Dead Sea by myself on one of my last days in Israel. i got lost like 100 times, and my GPS was pretty much useless.

it's mad hard to do camera work while driving. i wouldn't recommend it, by the way. you might hit a camel.
