About Janssen in HIV
This channel has been developed as part of Janssen's activities to mark the 30 years since the discovery of HIV.
We hope that the videos on this channel will help to improve people's understanding of the developments that have been made in HIV over the last three decades as well as to help people better understand the experiences of people living with HIV.
HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a frequently mutating retrovirus that can lead to AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). Over the past 30 years since the discovery of HIV, scientific advancement means that HIV is now considered a chronic condition in much of the developed world.
Janssen is one of the world's leading research based pharmaceutical companies with a mission in HIV to extend lives, enhance medical care and access to therapies, improve quality of life and make a difference in HIV by preventing the further spread of the virus.
